Collection of stem cell from peripheral blood
To obtain peripheral blood stem cell treatment, patient needs to stay in Bangkok for at least 6-8 days.
- Day 1: medical check up and blood tests.
- Day 2 – 4: G-CSF injections for boosting bone morrow to produce stem cells.
- Day 5: stem cell collection. This process takes 3-4 hours. The patient can sit comfortably without any pain and the entire process is very safe.
- Day 6-7: laboratory to process to get stem cells.
- Day 8: Autologous stem cell transplantation and stem cell cryopreservation.
